Foster Care

Unity Parenting and Counseling invites you to make a real difference to the world by becoming a foster parent. Children ranging in age from infant to teenager need your love and support. They need you to provide a safe and stable home as well as the love and guidance of a skilled and committed parent. Being a foster parent is a fulfilling and challenging job and Unity licensing staff and case managers are here to help you in every possible way.

Unity licensing staff will explain the licensing process and will assist you with the in’s and out’s of the process. You will be referred to training where you will learn needed skills and procedures. As a foster parent you will receive funds to support the day to day expenses of each child in your home. The case managers and Unity clinical staff are available to help with all situations as needed. We really want you to join the Unity Foster Care Family.

Conversion Adoptions:  Unity encourages many foster parents to adopt the children in their care who are unable to return to their natural parents.  Eligibility is limited to:  those foster children designated by Juvenile Court as being eligible for adoption.
