Director of Child Welfare Services
Nicela Guy came to Unity Parenting & Counseling Inc., in 2006 as a case manager with almost 10 years of social service experience in the fields of domestic violence, mentally ill/ homeless population, HIV/AIDS population. Since being with Unity Parenting & Counseling Inc., she has been able to develop her passion of being an advocate for the best interests, safety and well-being of the children and families that we service. During her time of supervising the foster care department, it has grown in exponential ways, such as, the number of diverse families we serve, the number of case workers we employ and other contractual entities that fall under the foster care umbrella.
Nicela has a BS degree in Criminal Justice as well as two masters degree in general and clinical psychology.
